PROBLEM CAUSE SOLUTION
Short runtime of
the mower with
included battery.
Grass conditions and cutting-
height setting will greatly affect
the battery run time. The claimed
run time is based on a light load
condition.
The blade speed mode is not set
properly.
Raise the blade height and slow
your pace to reduce the cutting
load.
Select a slower blade speed
mode.
The mower
does not mulch
properly.
Wet grass clippings are sticking
to the underside of the deck.
The mower is set to cut too much
grass at once.
The blade speed mode is not set
properly.
Wait until the grass dries before
mowing.
Raise the deck to a higher
cutting-height setting.
Select a faster blade speed
mode.
The mower
stops while
mowing.
The battery pack is depleted.
Mower is in overload condition.
Mower deck is clogged with
grass and debris.
The battery pack or mower
circuitry is too hot (The power
indicator on the mower emits an
orange light for 10 seconds).
The side rail is retracted a little
by the pushing force applying on
the handle.
The blade speed mode is not set
properly.
Charge the battery pack.
Raise the cutting height or slow
down the mowing.
Unclog the mower deck. Raise
the cutting height and/or cut a
narrower swath.
Allow the battery pack or mower
to cool until the temperature
drops below 152°F (67°C).
Unlock the clamps. Fully extend
the side rails and lock the
clamps again.
Select the blade speed to a
lower setting.
