VARIABLE AUGER-SPEED
SYSTEM (FIG. 7)
1. Press the safety button and the power
indicator will light up solid green.
2. To turn on the auger, squeeze the
lock-off lever and then press the auger-
switch trigger down against the handle.
Then release the lock-off lever (Fig. 7a).
3. To turn off the auger, release the
auger-switch trigger.
The speed of the auger determines the
throwing distance. The speed of the auger
is variable and can be adjusted using the
auger-speed-control lever (Fig. 7b).

To increase the speed, move the
auger-speed-control lever forward (away from the user).
◾
To decrease the speed, move the auger-speed-control lever backward (towards
the user).
NOTE: The position of the auger-speed-control determines the auger speed, so the
auger speed adjustment is effective at any time.
VARIABLE-SPEED SELF-PROPEL
SYSTEM (FIG. 8)
This snow blower features a variable-
speed self-propel capability. The self-
propel function could be turned on with or
without auger rotation.
1. Press the safety button and the power
indicator will light up solid green.
2. To turn the self-propel function on, press the self-propel trigger down against the
handle (Fig. 8a).
3. To turn the self-propel function off, release the self-propel trigger.
