The speed and direction of the self-propel
system can be adjusted using the self-
propel speed-control lever (Fig. 8b).

To move forward, position the self-
propel speed lever in the forward
area. Move the self-propel speed-
control lever forward (away from
the user) within the forward area
to increase the speed. Or move the
self-propel speed-control lever backward (towards the user) within the forward
area to decrease the speed.

To move in reverse (back out), position the self-propel speed lever in the
reverse area. Move the self-propel speed-control lever FORWARD (away from the
user) within the reverse area to DECREASE the speed. Or move the self-propel
speed-control lever BACKWARD (towards the user) within the reverse area to
INCREASE the speed.
NOTE: You will feel a “click” that separates the forward and reverse areas of the self-
propel speed-control lever.
NOTICE: The position of the self-propel speed-control lever determines the
moving speed, so the speed adjustment is effective at any time. For your safety, it is
recommended to check and adjust the self-propel speed to the slowest before turning
on the self-propel function.
AUGER-SWITCH TRIGGER AND
SELF-PROPEL TRIGGER LINKAGE

When you activate the self-propel trigger
and the auger-switch trigger at the same
time, the auger-switch trigger will be
temporarily locked. Release the auger-
switch trigger (right hand) and the auger-
switch trigger will remain engaged. This feature allows you to adjust the auger speed,
self-propelling speed, and discharging direction of the snow while the auger rotates.
To stop the auger, release the self-propel trigger and both the auger and the self-propel
function will stop.
