TROUBLESHOOTING
PROBLEM CAUSE SOLUTION
Blower cannot turn on
or stops working during
operation.
 The power cord from
the battery is not
attached to the blower
correctly.
 No electrical contact
between the blower
and power cord.
 The EGO portable
battery pack or the EGO
backpack battery is
depleted.
 The lock-off switch is
not placed to the “ON”
position before starting.
 The battery or blower is
too hot.
 The blower is overload.
 Reinsert the power
cord plug, ensuring that
the GREEN seal on the
plug is COMPLETELY
disappearing into the
socket.
 Check all the contacts
and reconnect the
blower with the power
cord.
 Depending on
battery type, choose
appropriate charger to
charge the battery.
 Before starting, make
sure that the lock-off
switch is placed to the
“ON” position.
 Disconnect the battery
from the blower and
allow the battery or
the blower to cool until
its temperature drops
below 152°F (67°C).
 Reduce the load on the
blower, such as leaving
the current working
area.
