PROBLEM CAUSE SOLUTION
Mower is
difficult to pull
back when the
self propel is
turned off

The wheels are temporarily
locked.
◾
Simply push ahead slightly and
then move the mower as desired.
The motor
works but the
blade doesn’t
cut the grass
◾
The blade is not tightened to the
required torque.
◾
Re-tighten the blade. The
recommended torque for the
blade bolt is 36-43 ft-lb (49-
59Nm).
