What to do if the EGO Battery Pack battery-bay indicator flashes red?

  First, remove and re-insert the battery pack into the power bank. If the battery-bay status indicator still flashes red, try charging a different battery pack. If the new replacement battery pack can be charged normally, the original battery pack is faulty. If the battery-bay status indicator still flashes red after replacing the battery pack, reset the hub by unplugging it from the power supply, wait until the hub-status indicator turns off, and then reconnect the plug to the power supply. If the battery-bay status indicator still flashes red after these steps, the power bank may be faulty.

  A flashing red hub status indicator may indicate several issues: hub output overcurrent, a blocked or damaged hub fan, or AC input under-voltage. For hub output overcurrent, reset the hub by unplugging it from the power supply and waiting until the hub-status indicator turns off, then reconnect the plug to the power supply. For a blocked or damaged fan, unplug the hub, shake it slightly, and reconnect it to the power supply to see if it works normally. For AC input under-voltage, no action is needed; the hub will resume charging after the AC input voltage stabilizes. If the AC input voltage is still unstable after many attempts, unplug the hub and wait until the hub status indicator turns off, then reconnect the plug.
