- that the pressure relief device is regularly operated, to
eliminate limescale deposits and to be sure that it will
not get blocked;
- that a discharge line is to be connected to the
pressure relief device, sloping downward at all times
and installed in surroundings not exposed to the risk
of frost.
- The EGO Smart Heater is installed in a horizontal
position. (additional information see section
installation position)
- The installation depth must exceed 460 mm.
Depending on the installation dimensions within the
reservoir, we recommend a minimum water quantity of
30 liters
(for details see figure a t page 80).
- Before switching on the EGO Smart Heater for the first
time, the fitter must ensure that liquid is present in the
container.
- For sealed water heaters, it is imperative to focus on
the layout of the fittings and the safety installations
used
(for details see figure a t page 81).
- The maximum working pressure must not exceed 1
MPa (10 bar.)
- The safety valves used must be configured such that
the pressure in the container does not exceed the
nominal pressure by more than 0.1 MP a (1 bar.)
