- All-pole disconnection:
If a stationary device is not equipped with a mains
connection line and plug or other means of discon-
necting from the network, with a contact opening on
each pole according to the overvoltage category III for
full detachment, a disconnecting device of this type
must be incor por ated into the permanently installed
electrical installation according to the wiring rules.
- For systems with an in-built heat exchanger, it is
important to ensure that the temperature of the
medium to be heated is limited such that the safety
temperature limiter (STL) with its switch-off
temperature of 110°C -10K is not triggered.
- When the EGO Smart Heater is installed with
insulation 29.65335.xxx, the reservoir on-site must
comply with protection class I.
- For the 29.65335.xxx version, it is important to ensure
that the seal (see image on page 83) is not damaged.
Otherwise the system starts leaking and the EGO
Smart Heater can be damaged.
Installation posit io n
In principle, the Smart Heater can be installed in any location
desired, provided the positioning is horizontal. Vertical installation is
prohibited.
To achieve optimal infeed efficiency, we recommend installing the
heating rods of the EGO Smart Heater horizontally ( as illustrated
below) in the reservoir. The position of the heating rods can be
ascertained from the outside by the position of the mains cable
connectorasfollows.
