The EGO Smart Heater is connected with a router or a
corresponding remote station via a network cable.
The EGO Smart Heater has no fix IP address, therefore a
DHCP server is necessary for the allocation of the IP-address.
It is recommended to allocate a fix IP-address for the EGO
Smart Heater, which can be configured via the router or DHCP
server. For more infor mation please read the user manual of
the router or DHCP server. The EGO Smart Heater has the
name “Cxxxxxx“. The six „x“ are the last six figures of the MAC
address, which is on the label.
