Settings / Operating modes
The EGO Smart Heater includes a rotary selector to configure the
various operating modes and temperatures:
OFF mode
Set the rotary selector to the Off position.
Communication is established with the remote station,
no pow er is added.
Frost-protection operating mode
Set the rotary selector to the frost-protection position.
The status indicator lights up and remains orange for as
long as the stored temperature remains above 4°C±3K.
The heat output is 0 W. If the storage temperature goes
below 4°C±3K, the status indicator flashes orange with
9 second pauses. The EGO Smart Heater heats with an output of
500 W until the storage temperature of 8°C±3K is exceeded.
Heating operat in g mode
In this operating mode, the output of the EGO
Smart Heater can be controlled between 0 and
3500 W via the communcation interface. The EGO
Smart Heater is in the intended operating mode.
Communication w ith the r emote station i s
established. Upon request from the remote station,
heating is turned on with the desired output, until the max. storage
temperature is reached. Example for maximum storage temperature
40°C±3K 60°C±3K 80°C±3K
