Status indicator
LED fails to light up:
The EGO Smar t Heater is set to OFF or there is no mains voltage
connected.
LED lights up / flashes orange:
The EGO Smart Heater is set to the frost-protection operating mode
(see section Settings / Operating modes.)
LED lights up / flashes green:
A perm anent green LED means that communication with the remote
station has been established. The heat output is 0 W ( heating OFF.)
Various flash patterns show the current heat output of the EGO
Smart Heater. The flashing period lasts for around 10 seconds. The
pauses vary according to the configured output.
Indicator of the heating performance:
Lights up permanently in green: 0 W
1x g re en flashing, 9 sec. pause: 500 W
2x g re en flashing, 8 sec. pause: 1000 W
3x g re en flashing, 7 sec. pause: 1500 W
4x g re en flashing, 6 sec. pause: 2000 W
5x g re en flashing, 5 sec. pause: 2500 W
6x g re en flashing, 4 sec. Pause: 3000 W
7x g re en flashing, 3 sec. Pause: 3500 W
LED flashes green ( co n t in u ed ) :
The max. set water temperature has been reached. Reheating
is only possible after discharging the water or allowing the
reservoir to cool. After the reservoir has cooled and the EGO
Smart Heater has been switched back on, the indicator lights
up in red for a shor t time (for a max. 1 minute). This does NOT
indicate an error!
