The product is approved in accordance with
the respective national regulations and
guidelines and complies with the EU
standards.
Do not dispose of this product as normal
household waste. Take it to your local refuse
collection site.
Taking into operation
- Check device for damage.
- Remove transit protection.
- Fix suction cups
to double suction cup
holder
and clip onto heater
- Mount thermostatic heater with double suction
cup holder
vertically in the aquarium, xing
it in a place where water ow is brisk
(lter out-lets/vents).
- Plug into mains socket.

Setting temperature
B Turn the temperature selector ring to the
desired temperature. Monitor the aquarium
water temperature using an accurate thermo-
meter for at least 24 hours and make any
necessary adjustments to compensate for
calibration errors. You should periodically
monitor your aquarium water temperature with
an accurate thermometer.
(„Red light“
= heater in operation).
Note: The temperature selector ring should only
be used as a guide. Always use an
accurate thermometer for water tempera-
ture measurement.
Ratings (see table)
These are standard ratings are for closed aquariums
with an ambient room temperature of 21°C
and a desired water temperature of up to 26° C.
Three-year warranty
Does not cover breakage or damage to glass, improper
use or improper re-calibration and is voided if the device
is opened.
Re-Calibration & Re-Calibration

Under normal operation, re-calibration of your
Jäger heater will not be necessary. Re-
calibration should not be attempted if you do
not have an accurate thermometer or are not
condent that you are able to carry out the
re-calibration procedure. Incorrect re-
calibration of heaters is not covered by
warranty.
If after a day or two in operation the water
temperature does not correspond with the
temperature shown on the temperature
selector ring and you wish to re-calibrate
the heater so that the measured temperature
corresponds to the selected temperature you
need to follow the procedure listed below.
