used as prescribed it is still impossible to eliminate
certain residual risk factors. The following hazards
may arise in connection with the equipment’s
construction and design:
Contact with the three-jaw chuck where it is not
covered.
Removing the jaw chuck wrench after use.
Reaching into rotating parts.
Catapulting of workpieces and parts of
workpieces from the equipment.
Risk of injury from the cutting tool even when it is
not being used.
Workpieces whose diameter allows them to fall
through the three-jaw chuck towards the spindle
head must not under any circumstances project
beyond the limit of the equipment
Ensure that you wear safety goggles. Protect your
eyes from flying chips and other splinters.
Harmful coolants and lubricants. Make sure they
are disposed of in an environmentally friendly
manner.
Injuries caused by tool fractures.
4. Technical data

Internally stepped jaws: 20 - 70 mm
Jaw chuck bore hole: 15 mm
True running accuracy: 0.01 mm
Speed setting 1: 0 – 1,100 rpm
Speed setting 2: 0 - 2,500 rpm
Morse taper of the work spindle: MK 3
Morse taper of the tailstock spindle: MK 2
Weight: 37 kg
Operating modes
S1: Continuous operation
S3 50%: Intermittent mode, no start-up, no braking
(cycle duration 10 minutes). In intermittent mode, the
percentage load factor (50%) is always quoted so
that the heat generated during this period can be
dissipated during breaks in operation by convective
cooling. Intermittent mode consists of the on time and
the cooling breaks, known as the duty cycle.
The period of consideration is 10 minutes. 50% load
factor means that the electric tool can be operated for
5 minutes at the rated performance, followed by a
cooling phase of 5 minutes.
Noise emission values
Idle speed

sound pressure level 75 dB(A)
The quoted values are emission values and not
necessarily reliable workplace values. Although there
is a correlation between emission and immission
levels it is impossible to draw any certain conclusions
as to the need for additional precautions. Factors with
a potential influence on the actual immission level at
the workplace include the duration of impact, the type
of room, and other sources of noise etc., e.g. the
number of machines and other neighboring
operations.
Reliable workplace values may also vary from country
to country. With this information the user should at
least be able to make a better assessment of the
dangers and risks involved.
5. Before starting the equipment
5.1 Using for the first time
Make sure that the base on which the equipment
is placed can support the weight of the equipment
(approx. 37 kg) and is sufficiently stable for no
vibrations to occur during operation.
All bare parts of the equipment are already well
greased in order to protect them from corrosion.
Clean the equipment using a suitable
environmentally friendly cleaning product before
using it for the first time and lubricate the bare
parts with acid-free oil.
If you wish to bolt the equipment to the surface,
use the threaded holes in the adjustable feet to
secure the equipment. In this case do not fit the
adjustable feet.
Check that all the screws are secure and that the
three-jaw chuck (27) can be turned easily by
