The S-60/S-60T crossover is fitted with an
automatically resetting tweeter-protection de¬
vice This new design permits short-term tran¬
sients to pass, but protects the tweeter from
long-term power extremes that would normally
destroy the tweeter

SPECIFICATIONS
The loudspeaker system shall be a conslant-
directivnty. two-way system The speaker sys¬
tem shall contain a 16.5-cm (6.5-in.) low-fre¬
quency loudspeaker and a 2.5-cm (1-in.) high-
frequency tweeter with disperison-controlling
Direktor’’' The S-60T shall include a 60-watt
line transformer installed in the vented enclo¬
sure The line transformer shall have power
taps for 60 W 30 W, 15 W. 7.5 W, 3.8 W and 1 9
W. The power taps shall be switch-selectable.
The dividing network crossover frequency shall
be 2.500 Hz. The loudspeaker system shall
meet the following performance criteria power
handling. 100 watts per EIA RS-426A: fre¬
quency response. *3 dB from 70 to 18,000 Hz;
pressure sensitivity, 88 dB SPL at 1 watbl
meter band-limited pink noise in an anechoic
chamber: impedance. 8 ohms nominal. 5 ohms
minimum The enclosure shall be two-piece
construction with a particle-board cabinet and a
molded plastic baffle. The unit shall be 35.0 cm
(13 8 in ) high, 22 0 cm (8.7 in.) wide and 21.1
cm (8 4 in ) deep The loudspeaker system
shall be the Electro-Voice rrxxlef S-60/S-60T.
UNIFORM LIMITED WARRANTY
Electro-Voice products are guaranteed against
malfunction due to defects in materials or work¬
manship lor a specified period, as noted in the
individual product-line stalement(s) below, or in
the individual product data sheet or owner's
manual, beginning with the date of onginal
purchase. If such malfunction occurs during the
specified period, the product will be repaired or
replaced (at our option) without charge. The
product will be returned to the customer pre¬
paid Exclusions and Limitations: The Lim¬
ited Warranty does not apply to: (a) exterior
finish or appearance; (b) certain specific items
described m the individual product-line
statement(s) below, or in the individual product
data sheet or owner's manual: (c) malfunction
resulting from use or operation of the product
other than as specified in the product data
sheet or owner's manual; (d) malfunction re¬
sulting from misuse or abuse of the product; or
(e) matfunction occurring at any time after re¬
pairs have been made to the product by anyone
other than Electro-Voice or any of its authorized
service representatives. Obtaining Warranty
Service: To obtain warranty service, a cus¬
tomer must deliver the product, prepaid, to
Electro-Voice or any of its authorized service
representatives together with proof of purchase
of the product in the form of a bill of sale or
receipted invoice. A list of authorized service

Consequential Damages Excluded; ProducI
repair or replacement and return to the cus¬
tomer are the only remedies provided to the
customer. Electro-Voice shall not be liable for
any incidental or consequential damages in¬
cluding. without limitation, injury to persons or
property or loss of use. Some states do not
allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or
consequential damages so the above limitation
or exclusion maynot apply to you. Other Rights:
This warranty gives you specific legal nghts,
and you may also have other rights which vary
from state to state.
Electro-Voice Speakers and Speaker Sys¬
tems are guaranteed against malfunction due
to detects in materials or workmanship for a
period of five (5) years from the date of original
purchase The Limited Warranty does not apply
to burned voice coils or malfunctions such as
cone and/or coil damage resulting from improp¬
erly designed enclosures. Electro-Voice active
electronics associated with the speaker sys¬
tems are guaranteed for three (3) years from
the date of original purchase. Additional details
are included in the Uniform Limited Warranty
statement.
