Descaling
If your coffee machine is about 3 months old,
you need to clean it of mineral deposits
Fill the water tank with water and descaler to
the MAX level (the ratio of water to descaler is
4:1, see the instructions for the descaler for
details. Please use a "household descaler",
you can use citric acid (available from phar-
macies) instead of descaler (ratio of water
and citric acid is 100:3)
Following the preheating procedure, place
the metal funnel (without ground coffee
inside) and container into place. Follow the
"Make Coffee" program
Press the power switch, the blue indicator
light of the power switch will flash, wait for a
moment, the indicator light will stay on, then
press the coffee button switch, put the
container into the drip tray, when water flows
out, press the coffee button again, the water
pump turns off and wait a moment for the
