Usage Features
- Touch Screen Interface: The digital machine features a user-friendly Touch Screen operator panel for intuitive control.
- Production Mode: Initiates ice cream production.
- Night Mode: Puts the machine in standby, maintaining mixture temperature in tanks and cylinders for energy saving and product preservation.
- Wash Cycle: Activates washing mode, engaging the pump and stirrer while refrigerant circuits remain stationary for cleaning.
- Menu Access: Provides access to machine parameterization settings.
- Info Function: Displays information on ice cream production.
- ECO Function: Activates an energy-saving mode during low customer influx by increasing pause time between batch freezing phases.
- Production Parameters: Allows setting the consistency of ice cream and tank temperature.
- Tank Temperature Display: Shows the current temperature inside the tanks.
- Ice Cream Dispenser: Simple lever operation for dispensing product, allowing for conical shaping of ice cream.
- Pump Machine Overrun Adjustment: The pump lever can be adjusted to vary the air-to-mixture proportion, regulating the volume increase suitable for the mixture type.
- Gravity Machine Mixture Level: Requires maintaining the mix level above half in the tank and periodic mixing with a spatula to prevent separation and thickening (not necessary with an emulsifier). The internal regulator can adjust the air percentage in the freezing cylinder.
- Tank Emulsifier (Optional): Ensures mixture homogeneity and prevents frost formation on tank walls, especially for low-fat mixtures. Its operation can be activated/deactivated via a switch and configured via the Touch Screen.
- Consistency Adjustment: Allows modification of ice cream consistency for optimal results, viewable and adjustable in real-time during production.
- Default Flavor Selection: Enables storing a consistency value for various products and selecting predefined flavors via the menu.
Maintenance Features
- Cleaning and Sanitisation: Essential daily operations to ensure good functioning and compliance with health regulations. These operations should be performed at the end of each production cycle.
- Preliminary Wash: Involves filling tanks with water and detergent, draining, and then disassembling parts for thorough cleaning.
- Sanitisation: Uses a common disinfectant (e.g., 2% Sodium Hypochlorite) in the tanks during a wash cycle, followed by draining.
- Pump Machine Cleaning: Includes discharging remaining product, washing surfaces, disassembling pump and delivery units, cleaning components in a dishwasher or manually, and reassembling with a "seal guide."
- Gravity Machine Cleaning: Similar to pump machine cleaning, but involves unscrewing the gravity piston and removing the gravity piston and delivery unit.
- Dispensing Unit Dismantling: Instructions for disassembling the nozzle, pistons, dispenser rod, and levers for cleaning and greasing O-rings.
- Pump Unit Dismantling: Detailed steps for disconnecting the delivery pipe, removing the pump unit, washing components, and reassembling with food grease.
- Product Air Regulation Pipe Removal (Gravity Machines): Instructions for extracting the piston, loosening the fixed rod, and extracting O-rings for cleaning and reassembly.
- Auger Disassembly (Monobloc Model): Steps for removing the auger and gland for cleaning, checking for wear, and lubricating with food grease.
- Emulsifier Dismantling: Instructions for pulling the rotary unit upwards for washing and reassembly.
- Gland Control: Regular inspection of the gland for defects and replacement if worn or leaking (indicated by ice cream traces in the drip tray).
- Air Cooling Maintenance: Periodic cleaning of the condenser to remove dust and debris using a brush or compressed air.
- Water Cooling Maintenance: For water-cooled machines, water must be removed from the condensation circuit at the end of the season to prevent problems in environments below 0°C.
- Safety Warnings: Emphasizes disconnecting the machine from power before any maintenance, avoiding water spray on electrical components, and using only approved disinfection products.
- Spare Parts Kit: Includes a bag of seals, food-grade grease, pipe cleaner brushes, and an extractor for routine maintenance.
- Alarm System: The machine detects anomalies (e.g., batch freezer timeout, high consistency value, compressor thermal switch, tank minimum level, dispensing unit not inserted) and displays them on the Home screen, providing solutions for troubleshooting.
- General Settings: Allows users to adjust date, time, and language settings.
The manual stresses the importance of using high-quality mixtures and contacting Electrolux Professional SPA assistance centers for any necessary repairs or complex operations. It also highlights safety instructions for installation, including proper electrical connections and positioning of the machine in a well-ventilated, dry environment away from heat sources.
