SANITIZATION AND
PERFORMANCE
• The atmospheric boiler
combined with the rinse booster
pump, offers perfect rinsing
performances in terms of quality,
high water temperature and
pressure, always constant at 84°C
during rinsing cycles and
independent from the water
pressure of the network (with a
minimum of 0.5 bar).
• 4 second (variable) pause after
washing and before rinsing
ensures that no drops of unclean
water will fall on the clean items at
the end of the rinsing cycle.
• Three dishwashing programs:
1st cycle of 300 seconds for lightly
soiled items, 2nd cycle of 420
seconds for normally soiled items
and 3rd cycle of 600 seconds for
heavily soiled items.
• Thermal disinfection guaranteed
thanks to the large 12 litre
atmospheric boiler which provides
a water temperature of 85°C
(measured on the items in the
basket) for the 30sec. rinsing
cycle.
• Double skinned insulated wall
ensures a low noise level and a
reduction in heat loss from the
machine.
• Fault auto-diagnosis system.

HYGIENE AND RELIABILITY
• All the machines have smooth
surfaces to facilitate cleaning.
• Large deep drawn wash tank
and internal wash area with round
corners and no pipes to avoid dirt
built-up.
• The fully automatic self-cleaning
cycle avoids the risk of bacteria
proliferation.
• The boiler drain facilitates the
evacuation of stagnant water after
long periods of inactivity to ensure
a higher level of hygiene.
• High efficiency air gap (class A)
in water inlet circuit to avoid water
being siphoned back into the
network as a result of a sudden
drop in main pressures.

Overview

The Electrolux Undercounter Dishwasher, specifically the Medical Line Undercounter model, is designed for professional use in environments demanding high standards of hygiene, efficiency, and economy in dishwashing operations. This product is part of a broader range of Electrolux dishwashing solutions, including glasswashers, hood type, rack type, flight type, and pot and pan washers.

Function Description:

The primary function of this undercounter dishwasher is to provide thorough and sanitized washing of various items, including dishes, cups, and cutlery. It is equipped with a drain pump and is available with or without a continuous water softener and a rinse aid dispenser. The machine is capable of processing 12 baskets per hour, ensuring a steady workflow in busy settings. It offers three distinct dishwashing programs tailored to different levels of soiling: a 300-second cycle for lightly soiled items, a 420-second cycle for normally soiled items, and a 600-second cycle for heavily soiled items. A key feature is the thermal disinfection, guaranteed by a large 12-liter atmospheric boiler that maintains a water temperature of 85°C (measured on the items in the basket) during the 30-second rinsing cycle. This ensures a high level of sanitization, crucial for medical and other hygiene-sensitive environments. The atmospheric boiler, combined with a rinse booster pump, ensures consistent rinsing performance in terms of quality, high water temperature, and pressure, always maintained at 84°C, independent of the network's water pressure (with a minimum of 0.5 bar). A 4-second (variable) pause after washing and before rinsing prevents unclean water from dripping onto clean items.

Important Technical Specifications:

The dishwasher's external dimensions are 600mm width, 612mm depth, and 850mm height. The cell dimensions are 500mm width, 500mm depth, and 335mm height. The washing cycle operates at a temperature range of 55-65°C, with a tank capacity of 23 liters. The wash pump power is 0.736 kW, and the electrical elements for washing are 2 kW. The hot rinse cycle has a duration of 30 seconds, a temperature of 90°C, and consumes 7.5 liters of water per cycle. The boiler capacity is 12 liters, with boiler elements rated at 6 kW. The drain pump power is 0.034 kW, and the rinse pump power is 0.26 kW. The total power consumption is 6.85 kW. The noise level is less than 65 dBA. The net weight is 68 kg for models EUCAIML 502035 and EUCAIMLG 502037, and 71 kg for EUCAIMLWS 502036. The machine can be supplied with 400 V, 3N, 50 Hz or convertible to 230 V, 3/50 Hz; 230 V, 1+N/50 Hz. Water supply temperature can range from 50°C to 65°C, depending on the model, with water hardness specifications varying between 7-14 and <48. The machine is equipped with a thermometer, and some models include a water softener, drain pump, rinse booster pump, detergent dispenser, and rinse aid dispenser.

Usage Features:

The dishwasher features a simple control panel with a digital display, allowing for on-site personalization of washing and rinsing cycle times and temperatures, as well as precise adjustment of rinse aid and detergent quantities. The incorporated Soft Start feature provides additional protection for delicate items like glassware and crockery, enhancing wash pump reliability. The counterbalanced door with springs lightens the load when opening and closing. The wash tank filters can be removed without needing to extract the washing and rinsing arms, simplifying routine maintenance. The machine is pre-arranged to accept external dispensers and for HACCP system implementation and Energy Management devices. For models with continuous water softener, two resin containers automatically alternate during regeneration, providing non-stop washing without operator intervention. This ensures 100% of rinse water is regenerated, preventing pressure drops during rinsing and ensuring full detergent removal and sanitization. Regeneration salt is conveniently front-loaded.

Maintenance Features:

All machines are designed with smooth surfaces to facilitate easy cleaning. The large, deep-drawn wash tank and internal wash area have round corners and no pipes, preventing dirt build-up. A fully automatic self-cleaning cycle helps prevent bacteria proliferation. The boiler drain allows for the evacuation of stagnant water after long periods of inactivity, contributing to a higher level of hygiene. A high-efficiency air gap (class A) in the water inlet circuit prevents water from siphoning back into the network due to sudden drops in main pressures. The front and side panels, door, wash tank, tank filter, and wash/rinse arms are made from heavy-duty anti-corrosive AISI 304 stainless steel, ensuring appliance durability. The 304L stainless steel atmospheric boiler has improved welding protection for enhanced resistance to corrosion from chlorinated water. A PVC water supply hose with metal connections is resistant to high water pressure. The machine is completely closed on the reverse by a cover plate, and IPX4 water protection prevents external infiltrations. Double-skinned insulated walls ensure a low noise level and reduce heat loss. A fault auto-diagnosis system aids in troubleshooting and maintenance. The machine is 98% recyclable by weight and uses CFC-free packaging, aligning with environmental considerations. It is developed and produced in an ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 certified factory, ensuring quality and environmental management standards.
