Usage Features
- Commercial Use Only: The machine is designed exclusively for commercial and industrial applications.
- Water-Wash Only: Intended solely for water-wash of textiles; dry cleaning agents must not be used.
- External Dosing Systems: Prepared for connection to Jetsave and Dosave dosing systems, with specific instructions for tube connections (17 mm for dosing systems, 6 mm for dosing systems, and a flush manifold connection). External dosing equipment must operate on pump pressure, not network pressure.
- Water Hardness and Dosage: Provides tables for adjusting detergent and conditioner dosage based on water hardness (in °D, °F, and °E) and specific programs (e.g., Wool High/Medium, Synthetics-Mix Medium/Low, Gentle 40). A water hardness kit (Part No. 0S0586) is available.
- Clarus Vibe Control: The "Clarus Vibe" designation indicates an advanced control system, likely offering programmable wash cycles and user-friendly interface.
- Public Area Installation: If installed in a public area, specific segments must be selected during the initial power-up setup, such as "Apartment Auto Dosing," "Laundromat/Launderette," or "Camping/Marina."
Maintenance Features
- Authorized Service: Servicing must be carried out only by authorized personnel using genuine spare parts, accessories, and consumables.
- Easy Access for Service: The machine should be positioned with sufficient room for working, both for the user and service personnel, with minimum distances to walls and other machines (25 mm to a wall, 500 mm to another machine) to ensure easy access for maintenance.
- Water Shut-off Valves and Filters: All water intake connections should be fitted with manual shut-off valves and filters to facilitate installation and servicing.
- New Water Hoses: The machine must be connected with new water hoses; re-used hoses are not permitted.
- Electrical Safety: A multi-pole switch must be mounted prior to the machine to facilitate installation and service operations. For EMC compliance, a ferrite (enclosed with the machine) must be used with the protective earth (PE) wire wrapped around it.
- Transport Supports: Removable transport supports are used for secure transportation and should be saved if the machine needs to be moved in the future.
- Function Check: After installation, a comprehensive function check is required, including verifying drum rotation, checking for leaks in water supply/drain connections, ensuring water passes through the detergent container, and confirming the door lock functions during a program.
- Disposal Information: Detailed instructions for the differentiated disposal of machine parts (metals, oils, greases, plastic, rubber) and packaging materials (wrapping film, corner protection, cardboard, pallet, screws, nuts, plastic bags) are provided, emphasizing compliance with local regulations and environmental responsibility. The manual also states that any markings, the manual itself, and other documents should be destroyed when scrapping the machine.
