• Ice maker power switch is Off.
o Water supply is not connected
to refrigerator.
• Household water line valve is
not open.
o Freezeris not cold enough.
• Valveon cold water pipe
is clogged or restricted by
foreign material, tf valve is of
the self-piercing type, it may
not havecreated a sufficiently
sizedhole in tube for water to
passthrough.
• Checkto see if the water
dispenser is dispensing water.
• Water filter is not completely
seated.
• Ice maker is producing less
ice than you expect.
o Freezeris not cold enough.
° Household water line valve is
not completely open.
o Check to see if water
dispenser is dispensing
slower than normal.
° Ice maker wire signal arm
is being held down by some
item in the freezer.
• Ice cubes are not being used
frequently enough.
o Ice cubes are hollow or
smaller than normal.
, Ice has picked up odor or
flavor from strong food stored
in refrigerator or freezer.
• Icenot usedfrequentlyenough.
Correction
• Turn on power switch.
o Connectwater supply (see Installation
Instructions).
° Turn on household water line valve.
• See Problem section, Temperatures Are
TooWarm.
• Turn off household water line valve.
Removevalve. Ensurethat valve is not a
self-piercing valve.Cleanvalve. Replace
valve if necessary.
o If not, the ice & water filter cartridge
is clogged or restricted, and must be
replaced.
• Pushfirmly until the water filter snaps into
p_!ace(you should heartwo clicks);.
o Icemaker should produce approximately
4_5 pounds of ice every 24 hours. Fast
lceshould produce up to 6 pounds of ice
every 24 hours.
• See Problem section; Temperatures Are
TooWarm.
o Turn on household water line valve.
• If it is, replacethe ice & water filter
cartridge.
_,Move item and releasewire signal arm.
Removeany ice cubes frozen together over
wire signal arm.
• Removeand shake ice binto separate
cubes.
o The ice & water fitter cartridge may be
clogged. Replacefilter cartridqe.
• Cover foods tightly. Discard stale ice. Ice
makerwill producefresh supply.
o Discard stale ice.
