Beginning with the following table, this information includes common concerns, causes, and suggested solutions.

• Ice makerwire signal arm is being helddown

Icecubes are hollow (shells of icewith water
inside).The hollow cubes breakopen in the
bin and leaktheir water onto existing ice,
which causesit to freezetogether.
Turn on icemaker. Forthe fresh food ice maker,press
and hold the Ice Off button for 4 seconds until the
indicator turns off. Forthe freezerice maker, lower the
wire signal arm.
,, Connectthe unit to the householdwater supply and
ensurethe supply valve is open.
• Ensurethat the supply line does not kink when the refrig-
erator is pushed into placeagainstthe wall.
• Remove and re-install the water filter. Be sure to push
thefilter firmly so that you hearit lock solidly into posi-
tion.
,, If water dispenses slowly or not at all, or if the filter is six
(6) months old or older, it should bereplaced.
o Turn off householdwater linevalve.Removevalve.En-
sure that valve is not a self-piercing saddlevalve. Clean
valve.Replacevalveif necessary.
• Thefresh food andfreezer ice makerswill each produce
approximately2.5 pounds of ice every24 hours
depending on usageconditions.
• If water dispenses slower than normal, or if the filter is
six (6) months old or older, it should bereplaced.
