This manual covers many models and not all cycles, options, or features listed are available on

Lavado a Mano (Hand Wash)
Select the Lavado a Mano cycle for items labeled "Hand
Washable". Ten minutes of occasional tumbling are fol-
lowed by 2 rinses and a slow final spin. To protect your
hand washables, a hot water wash, Muy Sucio (Heavy
Soil), the Ouita Manchas (Stain Clean) and Centrifuga-
do Adicional (Extended Spin) options are not available.
The Enjuague Adidonal (Extra Rinse) option is available.
Washing wool garments labeled "Dry Clean Only"
or using chlorine bleach can result in permanent damage.
Centrifugado (Spin Only)
Use the Centrifugado cycle as a follow-up to a Sin Cen-
trifugado (No Spin) selection or anytime you want to
drain water from the washer and spin out the load. Select
the spin speed appropriate to the load. Toadd a rinse prior
to spin, select the Enjuague Adicional option.
Cycle Settings
Wash/Rinse Water Temperature
Tochange the temperature, press the Temperatura button
to scroll to the desired setting. Select a wash water tem-
perature according to fiber content, colorfastness and soil
level. A cold water rinse savesenergy and reduces wrinkling.
For best results
Follow the fabric care label
instructions on items to be
washed.
Toprotect your fabrics, not all temperatures are available
with every cycle. The indicator will not light if the setting is
not available with that cycle.
The temperature selected for the cycle will be remembered
and recalled each time that cycle is selected in the future.
Toreturn to factory settings, press the Inido/Pausa (Start/
Pause) and Selecd6n (Select) buttons at the same time
and hold until the signal sounds.
To change the temperature once the cycle has begun,
press the Pausa (Pause) button, make the new selection and
press Inicio (Start) again.

home, and seasonally low ground water temperature in some
geographic areascan affect water temperature.
Auto Temp Cafiente/Fria (Hot/Cold)
Use this setting for heavily soiled, white/colorfast cotton
and perm press loads.
Auto Temp Tibia/Fria (Warm/Cold)
Use this setting for normally soiled, white/colorfast cotton
and perm press loads.
Auto Temp Tibia/Tibia (Warm/Warm)
Use this setting for washable woolens or when a warm
water rinse is desired.
Auto Temp Fria/Fria (Cold/Cold)
Some warm water will automatically blend with cold tap
supply to achieve a precise Auto Temp Cold. Use this set-
ting for lightly soiled non-colorfast items, knits, delicates,
and hand washables.
Fria/Fria (Cold/Cold)
Wash and rinse temperatures are equivalent to temperature
of cold tap supply. Use this temperature selection for fabrics
and colors that are prone to dye transfer.
Spin Speed
M2ximo (Maximum), Rapido (Fast), Medio (Medium)
and Lento (Slow) spin speeds are available for each cycle.
The spin speed and/or duration of final spin vary from model
to model and cycle to cycle.
Increasing the spin speed will extract more water, decrease
drying time and conserve energy. Decreasing the spin speed
will reduce wrinkling.
Select Lento spin speed to gently spin items that should be
line dried.
UseSin Centrifugado (No Spin) to omit the final spin at the
end of the cycle. The load will be very wet. Remove items from
the wash drum to drip dry or select the Centrifugado (Spin
Only) cycleto remove excesswater at a more convenient time.
Soil Level
Select Muy Sucio (Heavy) soil to increase the wash time
or Poco Sudo (Light) soil to decrease the wash time in
some cycles.
