Cleaning the exhaust lter
There are two types of Electrolux Twinclean exhaust lters:
• Standardlter.Mustbecleanedevery5–7years.
• HEPAlter(thickerwithcreasedbrematerial).Mustbe
cleaned every 2–3 years.
There is no dierence in how the lters are cleaned or
tted.
30 Removethedustcontainerbypressingtherelease
button at the back of the vacuum cleaner and lifting
the container.
31 Lift the two snap catches at the back edge of the
vacuum cleaner and open the lter cover.
32 Lift out the lter.
33 Rinsetheinside(dirtyside)inlukewarmtapwater.
Tapthelterframetoremovethewater.Repeatthe
process four times. Note: Do not use cleaning agents
and avoid touching the lter surface.
Let the lter dry.
Put the lter back into place, close the lter cover and
ret the dust container.
Clearing the hose and nozzle
The vacuum cleaner automatically stops if there is a
blockage in the nozzle, tubes or hose or if the lter or lter
holder becomes blocked. Pull out the power plug and
allow the vacuum cleaner to cool down for 20–30 minutes.
Removetheblockagethatiscausingtheproblem,and/or
replacethedirtylter.Restartthevacuumcleaner.
34 Use a suitable implement to clear the tubes and hose
of blockages.
35 It is sometimes possible to clear the hose by
“massaging it. However, be careful in case the
obstruction has been caused by glass or needles
caught inside the hose. Note: The warranty does not
cover any damage to hoses caused by cleaning them.
