GB Replacing the thread spool
– Push the Box Lock (W) on both sides of the thread Spool
Housing (U).
– Remove the lid (Q).
– Rotate the thread spool (R) to unlock and remove.
– Remove the remaining thread from the thread spool.
– Unroll the new thread in the thread groove and pull the ends
through the appropriate thread guides (V).
– Replace the thread spool (R) back in the thread spool housing
(U) and rotate until the spool is seated firmly.
– Close the lid (Q).
– When put in operation for the first time, the blade on the
protective mechanism will automatically cut the thread to the
correct length.
