2.2 Protection against harmful fumes and gases
Working area should have good air circulation, aerator can be equipped if
necessary.
Don’t breath the fume or gas produced by welding, stay in leeward places.
Do use respirators where air circulation cannot be ensured.
Stop welding and go to breathe fresh air if you feel uncomfortable.
2.3 Protection against eye and skin burns
Don’t look at the arc with naked eyes. The strong light and UV may damage
your sight or even cause blind. Wear appropriate face shield with black glass
sheet when welding.
Wire appropriate clothes and gloves to avoid skin burned by strong light or
molten metal and sparks.
2.4 Protection against fire and explosion
Keep the flammable material away from the working area. Do not weld when
there are flammable gases in the work area.
Do not use the welding machine in overload condition.
Wear clothes made of asbestos or the like which do not burn.
Fire extinguisher should be prepared in the working area.
Fire monitor should be used when nobody is in the working area after welding.
Do not weld on sealed container.
2.5 Protection against noise and electromagnetic field
Welding procedure may cause loud noise, don’t weld for too long time. Use
noise protective device if necessary.
Workers with heart pacemaker imbedded should do some consultation with the
doctor, since the electromagnetic field may disturb the normal work of it.
3. Operation
Caution! Before welding, check the openings on the enclosure to make sure that no
packing or other material blocked the air circulating.
