HOW TO RECHARGE THE
BAT TERY
Before first use, charge the battery to 100% capacity.
To make sure you reach your destination, we recommend charging
fully battery at the latest when the display only shows two bars.
NOTE: The battery needs to be charged every 30 days, even if it fails
use of the bicycle; if the battery is not charged regularly, it will leak
eiciency until complete discharge; in that case, we will not be able to recognize
the product warranty.
Charging procedure
1. Open the protective cap of the charging socket located on the side of the
battery and connect the charging plug of the charger carefully.
2. Connect the charger to the 220V wall socket;
3. The charging process is in progress with red charger LED light.
The charging process is completed when the charger LED
turns green: the battery is charged to 100% capacity;
4. Unplug the charger from the wall socket and then the charging socket from the
drums;
5. Close the charging connector carefully with the protective cap.
After a certain time of inactivity of the ebike (a few hours) the battery goes into
a state of “hibernation” to reduce self-discharge. To reactivate it, turn the ebike
ignition key to the OFF position and then back to ON.
Always charge the battery in a dry and ventilated environment. Never cover the
charger during the charging process, otherwise it may be damaged. The charger
is for indoor use only.. Do not leave the charger plugged in for a long time after
charging is complete.
If there is a smell coming out of the charger while charging, it could
mean that the temperature has become too high; please stop charging immedia-
tely and send the unit for service.
Only use the battery charger supplied with the bicycle to avoid damage to the
battery and not to invalidate the guarantee.
