6.0 Test the gas detector
In normal monitoring state, press the self-test button. The red alarm LED and the
yellow malfunction indicator both flash once per second. At the same time, the
detector will set off the alarm and the speaker will play the voice message. The alarm
indicator will flash until the voice message was plays two times and the 10 seconds
alarming is over. The detector will return to normal operating state.
To test the installed detector you can release some gas 5cm around the detector by a
gas lighter. (Gas testing frequently may result in reducing the sensitivity of the
detector)
The detector will stop alarming and resume the detecting state while the gas density
reduces.
7.0 Maintenance
Brush or clean the gas convection windows every three months with a brush.
After cleaning please perform a self-test.
