Switching on and off
Switching on: Switch on the unit by pressing the pushbutton
(for approx. 1 second). This emmi®-dent Metallic offers the func-
tion of switching the vibration motor and the position change
signal (signal tone/beep tone) on and off so that you can decide
whether you want to perform oral hygiene with or without the
vibration motor and the signal tone. To switch off the vibration
motor and the signal tone, please keep the On/Off button
pressed for about 9 seconds. The LED lights up red four times.
To switch the vibration motor and the signal tone back on, press
and hold the On/Off button again for about 9 seconds. The LED
lights up green four times.
Switch off/Automatic switch off: Switch off the unit by
pressing the push-button (for approx. 1 second). The unit
switches off automatically after approx. 6 minutes (Battery
Save Function). The device is also provided with an electronic
sensor. If a wrong or defective Ultrasound brush head is used,
or no brush head has been inserted, the unit will also switch off
automatically and the green LED goes off after 1 second. If you
have forgotten the attachment on the handpiece for your trip,
the device will also switch off after approx. 6 minutes to prevent
discharging (Travel Safe function).
LED Display
1. ON:
You switch on the device by pressing
the ON/OFF button. The green
LED lights up (power indicator).
2. LED green - LIGHTS:
The green LED indicates that
the emmi®-dent ultrasonic toothbrush
works properly. Visible only in operation,
not during charging.
3. LED blue - CHARGE:
The LED display lights up blue when the
handset with the attached attachment
is on the charging station and the charging
station is properly supplied with 100 - 240V
mains voltage. We use a type C plug. If the
device is fully charged, the blue LED
display turns off (charge level check).
4. LED red - CHECK/ DISRUPTION:
If the battery is empty or if there is a fault, the red LED display
lights up. The device switches off, the red LED flashes for a few
seconds and goes out.
