Application of the emmi®-dent Metallic 2.0
with 100% original emmi®-dent ultrasound.
After switching on the emmi®-dent, you will feel the discreet
vibration motor and a quiet position change signal every 6
seconds. The actual cleansing process is not affected by this.
Ultrasound in the range of the multi-frequency bandwidth used
by us is basically vibration-free and noiseless. Both functions
serve to give the user feedback that the device is running. Also,
a low position change signal tone is emitted every 6 seconds
and the motor stops briefly to give you a haptic signal. (Beep
can be switched off manually).
Daily use
For your dental hygiene, we recommend you to clean your teeth
with the 100% Original Ultrasound of your emmi®-dent Metallic
twice a day for approx. 3 min.
1. Moisten the bristles of the Ultrasound brush shortly under
running water.
2. Apply a double pea-sized quantity of emmi®-dent Ultrasound
Toothpaste on the bristles of your Ultrasound brush head.
Only the emmi®-dent Ultrasound Toothpaste guarantees the
Original 100% emmi®-dent Ultrasound function. For more

read under the separate section „emmi®-dent Ultrasound
Toothpaste“ in this user manual.
3. Switch on the device and bray the Ultrasound Toothpaste
uniformously on the inside and outside surfaces as well as on
the chewing sides of your teeth.
4. The bristles of the Ultrasound brush head embrace 2 – 3
teeth, according to the size of your teeth. Maintain the bristles
gently and without pressure motionless on the inside, outside
and on top (chewing sides) of the teeth for approx. 6 seconds
each time. The actual duration depends on the amount of
impurities on the teeth (plaque, nicotine, wine stains, etc.).
In case of acute problems, such as gingivitis or parodontitis,
leave the bristles for approx. 15 to 20 seconds on the affected
sites. This can support the healing process. For more details

A longer application does not harm your teeth, because the
emmi®-dent Metallic implements a gentle Ultrasound. When
you have finished your dental hygiene, move the bristles
various times over your teeth, in order to remove any further
adherences or impurities. Then rinse your mouth with water
or an oral rinse.
5. After cleansing, wash the bristles and hand-piece under
running water. Switch off the device and dry the hand piece.
Please note that the bristles are free and clean from foodstuff
or other impurities. Now you can place the device with the
integrated Ultrasound brush head back on the charging dock.
