Wiring notes
Fuse types
Drive input fuses are provided to disconnect the drive from power in the event
that a component fails in the drive's power circuitry. The drive's electronic pro-
tection circuitry is designed to clear drive output short circuits and ground
faults without blowing the drive input fuses. The table below shows the VSA
input fuse ratings.
To protect the VSD most effectively, use fuses with current-limiting function.
RK5, CC/T type fuse for VSA
*Fuse ratings are based upon 300 V fuses for 230 V variable speed drives, and
500 V for 460 V variable speed drives
