If your Empire Comfort Systems Gas Heater shows a spark at the ODS/pilot when the ignitor button is pressed, but there's no ignition, here are a few things to check: * Ensure the gas supply is turned on and the manual shutoff valve is open. * Confirm the gas control knob is in the PILOT position and pressed in. * If the heater was recently installed, there might be air in the gas lines. Continue holding down the control knob and repeat the igniting operation until the air is removed. * The ODS/pilot could be clogged, in which case you should clean or replace the ODS/pilot assembly. If none of these steps work, it may be necessary to replace the gas regulator or contact your local gas company for assistance.
