Overview

The ENDA ETM1411 is a digital timer designed for installation in control panels, offering precise timing control with a single contact output. It is a compact device, measuring 35 x 77mm, and is CE marked according to European Norms, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.

Function Description

The ETM1411 functions as a digital timer with a wide range of adjustable settings. It features an external start input, allowing for remote activation. The display can be configured to show time in either minutes or seconds, with a range from 0:01 to 99:59 for both minutes and hours. The device allows for both increasing and decreasing the set time, with an adjustable step. Users can start and stop the timer directly from the front panel. Additionally, it offers 16 different warning tones and allows for the adjustment of upper and lower limits for the setpoint.

The timer operates in two main modes: Run Mode and Programming Mode. In Run Mode, the display shows the current time value, parameter value, or name. The START key, when held for one second, initiates the timer and voiced warning. Holding it for a few seconds accelerates the change rate. The STOP key, when held for one second, stops the timer and voiced warning (if Str.t. = EYP.1 mode is selected, the timer and voiced warning can be stopped if the external start input is off). Holding the STOP key for a few seconds also accelerates the change rate. The SET key is used to adjust the setpoint value in Run Mode and the selected parameter in Programming Mode. When pressed, the TIMER set value flashes, and it can be adjusted using the START and STOP keys with the step defined by in.de.

Programming Mode is accessed by pressing and holding the SET key for 3 seconds. Within Programming Mode, various parameters can be configured:

  • LE.ST (Lower Limit of Setpoint): Adjustable between 0.01 and E.UPL.
  • EUPL (Upper Limit of Setpoint): Adjustable between t.LoL and 99.59.
  • in.de (Increase or Decrease Step): Adjusts the step of the setpoint, between 1 and 30.
  • Lt.c (Selection of Time Unit): Allows selection between minutes (nin) or hours (Hour). If nin is selected, the time can be adjusted up to 99:59 minutes. If Hour is selected, the time can be adjusted up to 99:59 hours.
  • Str.t. (Selection of Start Type): Defines how the timer starts and stops using external start input and start/stop keys. Four different selection types are available, detailed in the control diagram.
  • Out.t (Selection of Relay Output): If EYP.0 is selected, the timer runs by start, and the relay contact shuts. When the time is over, the relay contact opens. If EYP.1 is selected, the timer runs by start, and when the time is over, the relay contact shuts.
  • Sond. (Selection of Buzzer Sound): Offers 16 different sounds. Selecting 0 cancels the warning tone.
  • S.Cod. (Access Code for Security Menu): This parameter should be 411.
  • A-t.S. (Access Code for Timer Set Menu): none makes the menu invisible. P.YES makes parameters of the menu changeable. P.no makes parameters of the menu only visible.
  • A-t.c. (Access Code for Timer Configuration Menu): none makes the menu invisible. P.YES makes parameters of the menu changeable. P.no makes parameters of the menu only visible.
