- Pulse Rate Monitoring: Users can place both hands on the pulse grip bars or use a heart rate chest strap for heart rate readings. It is recommended to stand on the foot rails for accurate readings during walking or jogging.
- Metric/Imperial Switch: The distance and speed units can be switched between kilometers/miles when the LCD power is off by pressing and holding the "Enter" key.
- Odometer and Total Hours: Displays accumulated distance and total operating time for three seconds after the safety key is placed on the monitor.
- Folding and Storage: The treadmill can be folded into an upright position for storage. It has a built-in safety unfolding feature for slow lowering of the deck. Transport wheels allow for easy movement.
- Re-Start Function: The "Start" button restarts the treadmill from a pause. If stopped for 5 minutes or more, the "Power" button is used to restart after automatic shut-down.
Maintenance Features
- Cleaning: Regular dusting and cleaning of the deck, side rails, and motor cover (at least once a year) prolong the treadmill's life and performance. A damp, soapy cloth can be used for the belt, avoiding liquid near internal components.
- Walking Belt and Deck Lubrication: Periodic lubrication of the walking belt and deck is crucial to reduce friction and extend the treadmill's lifespan. A sample bottle of lubrication oil is provided. Lubrication frequency depends on usage:
- Light use (less than 3 hours/week): Annually.
- Medium use (3-5 hours/week): Every six months.
- Heavy use (more than 5 hours/week): Every three months.
- Tropical areas may require more frequent lubrication due to humidity.
- Belt Adjustment: The walking belt tension and centering may need occasional adjustment. Instructions are provided for tightening the belt and centering it if it tracks too far to the left or right.
- Connection Checks: All connecting elements should be checked every 4 weeks to ensure they are tightly fitted and in good condition.
- Component Replacement: Defective components should be replaced immediately, and the equipment should not be used until repaired. Only original spare parts should be used for repairs.
- Sweat Wipe-off: Immediately wipe off sweat after exercising to prevent damage to the appearance and function of the treadmill.
