• Press the {[} button. The display now looks like this:

We’re going to add a quarter-note pulse using the second G# above Middle C.
After the countoff, play the G# along with the metronome clicks.
• Hold down the {RECORD} button and press {PLAY}.
On the fifth click, start playing.
After you’ve played eight G#s, you’ll be presented once again with the Audition page.
• Press {ENTER} to keep your new track.
• Press {PLAY} and listen—the pulse notes you just played have been added to your note
pairs.
• When you’re finished listening, press {STOP"CONTINUE}.
Quantizing Your Track
Quantizing is a way to correct any timing errors that occurred in your performance.
• Press the upper {6} button. The display shows:

• Press {ENTER}. The track we’re about to quantize is displayed:
