Ensure Wi-Fi is available and recommends using a Google Account for tablet setup.
Charge the tablet for 6 hours before first use using the included AC adapter.
Press and hold the POWER button for 3 seconds until the screen lights up.
Scroll through languages, highlight preference, and tap Next to proceed.
Tap your Wi-Fi network name, enter password if needed, and tap Connect.
Enter email/password for existing account or tap SKIP to create a new one.
Enter your first and last name in the appropriate boxes to continue account creation.
Enter desired username and a password, then repeat the password.
Add a recovery phone number or skip for later by logging into google.com.
Option to add a credit card for digital purchases, can be done later at wallet.google.com.
Uncheck unwanted services and tap right arrow to continue configuration.
Fill in parent's name, email, postal code, and birthdays for registration.
Enter a 4-digit PIN, repeat it, provide email, and a hint for recovery.
Answer security questions to reset forgotten parental PIN.
Read and accept the End User License Agreement and review Quick Tips for Kid's Place.
