Locking the Projector
You can lock the projector with a password to prevent unauthorized
people from using it. When the password lock is active, a password
entry screen will display each time you turn the projector on after it has
been unplugged.
1. Hold down the button for at least 5 seconds. You see the
Password Protect menu:
2. Press to select
Power On Protect, press or to select On, press , then press
.
3. Press to highlight
Password, then press to select it.
4. When you see the message
Change the password?, select Yes and press .
5. Set the toggle switch on the remote control to the
-Num position, then enter a four digit
number using the numeric buttons. When you enter the fourth digit, a confirmation
screen is displayed.
6. Enter the password again. A confirmation message is displayed.
7. Press to exit the menu.
When you turn the projector on and see the password entry screen, set the toggle switch on
the remote control to the
-Num position and enter the four digit password using the numeric
buttons.
