Instructions for Placing the Printer

Leave adequate room as shown in the table for setting up the printer.

Choose a at and stable location that can support the printer weight.

Use only an outlet that meets the power requirements of this printer.

The printer should be used only under the following conditions:
Temperature Humidity (without condensation)
Recommended 15–25 °C 40–60%
Loading, maintenance, etc. 10–35 °C 20–80%
Even the conditions above are met, you may not print properly if the environmental conditions
are not proper for the media. See the instructions of the media for more detailed information.
❏ To maintain humidity at the desired levels, keep the printer out of direct sunlight and away from
heat sources and air currents such as those produced by air conditioners.
❏ The printer is a precision device and should be installed where there is little dust. Do not install in
areas used for such activities as cloth-cutting or sewing.
