2.2.3.2 Carriage Home Position Detection
1. Current position temporary detection sequence determines if the carriage is in the
carriage lock position and releases the carriage if it is locked.
2. The carriage is moved to the left frame hit position and the carriage motor is
stopped.
3. The position that is specified
steps right from the stopping place is defined as an
origin, and from that time, positional information is monitored by the linear
encoder.
If the positional information could not be gained during detecting carriage home
p
osition due to the following causes, fatal error occurs.
•ObstructioMns on the carriage p
ath or other factors are giving too much pressure
on the MCR motor.
•CR linear encoder failure, CR linear s
cale defect, etc.
