HEAD CLEANS

Using the Cleaning button on the Control Panel
Menus/Maintenance/Cleaning (Medium)
Menus/Maintenance/Cleaning (Heavy)
Menus/Maintenance/Head Washing
Head Washing requires a set of cleaning cartridges and approximately 35 mins.
NB Cleaning carts can only be used ONCE!
Check that the Drain tank has been emptied before Head Washing
Switch off printer after Head Washing completed
Leave the printer off at this stage if you want to transport it.
Finally, switch the printer back on and do an Initial Fill of the inks

Cleaning interval

CARRIAGE RAIL WIPING
WHEN
Every 3 months or if the carriage becomes noisy
HOW
Put 5 drops of the Carriage Rail oil onto each pad of the Wiper Tool. Rub once along the
carriage rail, top and bottom in both directions
TRANSPORTING THE PRINTER
WHEN
Moving the printer to another location
HOW
Perform a Head Wash as shown under Head Cleans and switch off the printer after the
Head Wash is completed and before it asks for Inks to be installed.
Keep the printer level during transportation
