It provides comprehensive information on safety precautions, parts, remote control operation, installation, test operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.

Function Description

The EQK 23SEER Mini Split Air Conditioner is designed for domestic air conditioning, offering high-efficiency operation and portable convenience. It supports various operating modes including Auto, Cool, Dry, Fan, and Heat. The unit is equipped with an inverter for enhanced efficiency and precise temperature control. Key functions include:

  • Cooling Mode: Cools the room and reduces air humidity.
  • Heating Mode: Heats the room. Features a defrost cycle to clean frost from the condenser and recover heat exchange function, typically lasting 2-10 minutes. For North American markets, a forced defrost can be initiated by pressing the ECO button 10 times within 8 seconds in heating mode.
  • Dry Mode: Reduces air humidity for increased comfort.
  • Fan Mode: Provides air ventilation only, with adjustable fan speeds (Auto, Low, Low-Mid, Mid, Mid-High, High, Turbo).
  • Auto Mode: Automatically sets the run mode based on room temperature.
  • Timer Function: Allows scheduling automatic switch-on or switch-off of the appliance.
  • Swing Function: Controls horizontal and vertical louver movement for desired airflow direction.
  • Turbo Function: Activates quick cooling or heating with the highest fan speed for strong airflow.
  • Mute Function: Operates the indoor unit at the lowest fan speed for quiet operation.
  • ECO Function: Automatically sets operation to save energy in both cooling and heating modes.
  • Sleep Function: Activates a pre-setting automatic operating program. After 10 hours, it reverts to the previous setting mode.
  • Display Function: Toggles the LED display on the indoor unit panel ON/OFF.
  • I FEEL Function (Optional): Enables the remote control to measure the temperature at its current location and send this signal to the air conditioner to optimize the temperature around the user. It automatically deactivates after 2 hours.
  • Anti-Mildew Function (Optional): After running in COOL/DRY mode for over 30 minutes, the unit blows airflow for about 15 minutes to dry inner parts and prevent mildew, then shuts off. Only available in DRY/COOLING mode.
  • Self-Clean Function (Optional): Helps remove accumulated dirt and bacteria from the indoor evaporator. Runs for about 30 minutes and then returns to the pre-setting mode. Available on some heating pump inverter appliances.
  • Gentle Wind Function (Optional): Closes vertical flaps and provides a comfortable gentle wind feeling in COOL mode.
  • Health Function (Optional): Energizes and runs lonizer/Plasma/Bipolar Ionizer/UVC Lights (depending on models).
  • 8°C Heating Function (Optional): Automatically starts heating mode when room temperature drops below 8°C (46°F) and returns to standby when it reaches 9°C (48°F). Cancels automatically if room temperature is higher than 18°C (64°F).
  • GEN Function (Optional): Allows selection of General type L3 - L2 - L1 - OF.
  • Child-Lock Function: Disables all buttons on the remote control to prevent accidental changes.
