Why is my Ergo Fix 77205 Log Splitter leaking oil?

  If the Ergo Fix Log Splitter is leaking oil around the cylinder ram or from other points, it could be due to several reasons. First, air might be sealed in the hydraulic system during operation; try loosening the bleed screw a few rotations before operating the log splitter. Second, ensure the bleed screw is tightened before moving the log splitter. Third, check that the oil drain bolt with the dipstick is tight. If the hydraulic control valve assembly and/or seals are worn, contact the dealer.

If the log is too large or too hard for the machine's capacity, reduce its size. If there are oil leaks, locate them and contact the dealer. Also, check if any unauthorized adjustments were made to the max. pressure limiting screw, resulting in a lower max. pressure rating; if so, contact the dealer.
