Cleaning and changing lamps
CAUTION
Disconnect mains plug before gaining access to the interior of the sunbed.
In the case of permanently installed sunbeds, deactivate or remove fuses to disconnect the sun-
bed from the power supply.
CAUTION
We point out that the sunbed must be checked in appropriate recurring intervals to keep it in
proper working order!
• Only use genuine JK Ergoline parts of the same type to replace low-pressure UV sunlamps, high-
pressure UV bulbs or filter glasses.
• The use of other low-pressure UV sunlamps, high-pressure UV bulbs or filter glasses will invalidate CE
conformity and GS testing.
• In order to maintain tanning efficiency, we recommend cleaning the tubes after approx. 200 - 300 hours of
operation.
• On sunbeds with JK computer control, operating hours are indicated on the display of the remote control
or token box. See "Microcomputer control" operating instructions.
Instructions on care and cleaning
CAUTION
If steel rope and spring are not changed in good time, they may snap or break. This may cause
the canopy to collapse and injure the sunbed user.
ATTENTION
Important information on looking after and cleaning your sunbed.
Use only the special JK fast-acting disinfectant cleaner on the plexiglass surfaces. For best
results, clean the other plastics with warm water and a leather only. Never use aggressive
cleaners, such as commercially available Sagrotan, products containing alcohol or essential oils.
With time, these cleaning agents will cause damage that is not covered by the warranty.
Verwenden Sie für die Dekorblenden je nach Verschmutzungsgrad ein feuchtes Tuch, warme
Seifenlauge oder ein handelsübliches Reinigungsmittel ohne schleifende oder stark alkalische
Bestandteile.
NOTE
The formed edges of the acrylic panels may be slightly uneven and contain air inclu-
sions. It is also possible during cleaning for the rubber seals to leave traces of black on
the cloth.
Neither of these conditions is abnormal and should not give rise either to concern or
complaint.
