Maintenance and care
The area around the cable sockets at the top of the meter should be wiped with a clean cloth dampened with
alcohol to remove any skin, oils or dust that may affect the accuracy of high resistance measurements.
The frequency of cleaning depends on use; however, monthly cleaning would be recommended.
Clean the electrodes with a minimum 70% isopropanol alcohol-water solution. Make sure the electrodes are
dry before use. For compliance measurements, do not clean the surfaces to be measured. However, if the
measurements are outside the standards, clean the material surface and test again.
The surface resistance tester requires little maintenance and contains no user-serviceable parts. If your
