• Wear appropriate personal protective equipment during maintenance process. This should include eye protection and gloves.

Maxima XTEND Handpiece Maintenance Machine
to care for your handpieces. Cleaning and lubrication are required before each sterilization cycle.
Cleaning and Lubrication with Maxima XTEND Handpiece Maintenance Machine
Handpiece maintenance
1. Remove bur.
2. Detach handpiece from delivery system tubing.
3. Attach handpiece onto appropriate connector. Run maintenance cycle. See Maxima XTEND instructions for further information.
4. Remove handpiece from Maxima XTEND Maintenance Machine after cycle completes.
5. Wipe excess cleaner/lubricant from handpiece with dry, lint-free cloth.
Push-button Chuck Maintenance
Note: It is recommended that push-button chuck be cleaned every 3 - 4 maintenance cycles.
