INTRODUZIONE

Effects Module. With this purchase you have come into possession of one of the
most efticient processors available on the market today, capable of solving many
problems in your music productions.
THE COMPRESSOR
Dynamic control is fundamental in the production of music, in fact signals coming
frern microphone and pick-up sources in particular, often contain eccessive
levels and signal peaks with respect to the musical context in which they are
present. Thanks to the compressor it is possible to obviate the inconveniences
of excessive signal overloading and saturation, thereby obtaining a
hemogeneous result. Furthermore, in the hands of a capable Sound Engineer,
the compressor, pushed to its extreme values, can be a useful instrument in the
creation of special effects, especially when used with drums and other
percussive instruments.
LIMITER
In the same way as the Compressor, the Limiter is a very necessary function used to
accurately control the dynamics of the input signals. The way in which it works though
is radically different, as the Limiter immediately sets the dynamic range of the input
signal according to a previously established threshold.
ENHANCER
The Enhancer, as its name suggests, enhances the basic frequencies of the
mixing, giving a fuller, richer and more powerful sound.
Particularly of effect with percussive instruments, and guitars or basses when
played in a ‘slap’ manner.
DENOISER
The causes of background noise in the production of music are numerous;
pickups, electronic instruments, microphones etc. The Oenoiser intelligently
analyses the input signal, removing any background noise without altering the
sound content or any of the frequencies of the musical programme.
