What to do if my ETEKCITY Home Automation outlet is unresponsive to remote commands?

If your ETEKCITY Home Automation outlet isn't responding to the remote, first replace the remote's batteries with new 12V 23A batteries, as low battery power can reduce the remote's range. Also, ensure the outlet and the connected device are properly connected and powered on. Check that the outlet has adequate air circulation to prevent overheating and confirm that you aren't exceeding the maximum load current of 10A (approximately 1200W); if you are, immediately unplug the device.
