What to do if I forgot my ETL Safes PIN number?

  If you've forgotten your PIN for your ETL Safe, you can open the vault using the Emergency Access Key. For Model 20700, you can then change the PIN. Alternatively, you can perform a Master Reset to return the system to its default settings.

  If the electronics of your ETL Safe are not working right out of the box, charge the battery for 12 hours. If charging doesn't solve the problem, contact Customer Service.

How to fix an ETL SecureLogic Safes door that opens slowly?

  If the door of your ETL Safe opens very slowly or only partially, gently pull the door downward until it is in the full open position. Ensure that the slide rails and door are free from obstructions. You can also slightly oil the bearings with a silicone-based spray, but do not lubricate them more than once per year.

  If the power and touchpad are operational on your ETL Safe, but the door does not open, use the Emergency Access Key to open the Wall Vault™ door. Gently pull the door downward while turning the key to the right. Before closing the door again, make sure the slide rails and door are free from any obstructions.

  The system might register an invalid fingerprint on your ETL Safe because the sensor is dirty or has accumulated moisture. Refer to the maintenance instructions for cleaning.
