Setting the thermostat
The thermostat automatically regulates the temperature inside the refrigerator and freezer
compartment (if present).
• The normal temperature setting is position 4.
• Set a higher temperature by turning the knob to setting 1, 2 or 3.
• Set a lower temperature by turning the knob to setting 5, 6 or 7.
• At position 0, the refrigerator is off.
For appliances with a freezer compartment a setting between ‘4’ and ‘7’ is advised when
frozen products are stored for a longer period.
Fast freezing
The day before you want to freeze large amounts of fresh food at the same time, you can set
the thermostat knob to the lowest temperature setting. Set the thermostat knob to the normal
position when the food is frozen.
