Assembly instructions:
1. Open the frame holder of your cycle rack.
2. Place the octagonal lower part (B) of our
carrier adapter like a cycle frame into the
opening of the semi-shell of your cycle
rack and tighten this using the knurled
screw (C) on the holder.
3. Take care that the adapter is centred se-
curely.
4. Place your cycle onto the rack and align
the frame holder (A) of the Quicky to your
cycle frame.
5. Ensure that the cycle frame runs parallel
to the holder.
6. The two holding belts (D) now need to be
drawn around the cycle frame and fed
into the belt locks (E).
7. Pull the belts very tight so that the cycle is
held securely and firmly.
8. Ensure that the rubber straps (F) lie be-
tween the cycle frame and the belts (D) to
protect the paintwork on the cycle frame.
9. Then recheck that the Quicky is tightly in
place in your cycle rack and that the cycle
frame is in the correct position of the
Quicky.
10. For the remaining assembly work relating
to the cycle, please refer to the assembly
instructions of your cycle rack.
Safety information:
1. When transporting the cycles on the roof
of your vehicle, please remember that the
centre of gravity is higher which could af-
fect the driving properties of your vehicle
in normal situations (driving round bends,
braking, swerving) and other road or
weather conditions.
2. Before starting your journey, always
check that the carrier, adapter and cycle
are tightly in place.
3. Regularly check that the individual com-
ponents of the transportation equipment
such as e.g. (hand-wheel of the rack for
attaching the Quicky, tension belts that
hold the cycle frame, rubber straps, cycle
holder) are all attached properly.
4. Always adjust your driving speed to the
road and weather conditions, if possible
do not exceed the speed limit (130 km/h).
5. Ensure that the rubber inserts in the semi-
shell and below the tension belts are al-
ways used as this prevents the cycle
frame from slipping in the adapter. Due to
the increased height of the vehicle, al-
ways observe the height of entrances,
tunnels, underground garages etc.
6. Observe the roof load tolerance limits!
7. No parts of the cycle may protrude over
the outer edge of the vehicle!
