Screw the tension lever (8) into the tension lever mount (7) of the quick
locking mechanism. Turn the thread fully into the holder and tighten the
tension lever extension using a wrench (the tension lever has a spanner  at
with a key width of 17, see Figure 8).
Ensure that the trailer tow bar is undamaged, clean and free of grease.
Remove any paint from the coupling ball.
Before you put the bicycle rack on the trailer tow bar, familiarise yourself
with the quick locking system.
The quick locking mechanism is a component with a tension lever (8).
Activating the lever opens or closes the quick locking mechanism. With the
help of the securing bolt (9) and the padlock (10), the quick locking system
may be locked and secured.
Park your vehicle on a level surface. Apply the handbrake.
Remove the securing bolt from the quick locking mechanism and rotate by
90° to prevent it from engaging again. Open the quick locking mechanism
by lifting the tension lever.
Place the rack, from above, horizontally onto the trailer tow bar. Push
When the rack can no longer be rotated on the trailer tow bar, rotate the
securing bolt of the quick locking mechanism until it engages. Now close
the quick locking mechanism with the supplied padlock and remove the key
from the lock. Store the key carefully and in a safe place. The bicycle rack is
now secured to prevent theft.
Regularly check the  rm seating of the rack on the trailer tow bar as well
as the attachment of the bicycles to the rack. Also regularly check the
functions of the lighting system of your bicycle rack.
The padlock is always required when using the bicycle
rack. The bicycle rack may only be used if the padlock
is employed correctly and locked. The lock is safety-
relevant.
Always make sure that the counter nut on the
adjusting screw is correctly tightened!
Slight signs of pressure on the two bar ball are normal
and do not in uence the functionality

approximately 35-40 kg) as far as it will go (the lever will remain in the
horizontal position).
Check whether the bicycle rack is securely and  rmly positioned on the
trailer tow bar (and can no longer be rotated). If this is not the case, the
quick locking mechanism must be readjusted. Lift the lever and remove
the rack from the trailer tow bar. Remove the protective cap (11) of the
adjusting screw (13). Undo the counter nut (12) of the adjusting screw and
rotate the adjusting screw on the quick locking mechanism tighter by a
quarter turn. Then tighten the counter nut again.
Replace the rack back on the trailer tow bar and check whether the rack
is securely and  rmly positioned on the tow bar. Repeat the adjustment
process until the rack is secure and  rm. Push the protective cap back onto
the adjustment screw.
