Problem Solving

Motor will not start.

Troubleshoot motor not starting by checking power plug, switch, or thermal cut-off.

Vacuum does not clean carpet or bare floor.

Check dust cup, filter, air path selector, belt, and hose for issues affecting suction.

No suction at the end of hose.

Address low suction by checking dust cup, filter, air path selector, and hose blockages.

Turbo nozzle will not turn (on some models).

Troubleshoot turbo nozzle by checking rotating brush and ensuring correct selector setting.

Vacuum is hard to push.

Resolve difficulty pushing by adjusting vacuum height setting or checking the belt.

Burning smell; brush roll will not turn.

Identify burning smell or brush roll issues by checking the belt and brush roll for debris.
